1C, ERP integration with online stores
Online sales require speed, accuracy, flexibility, and full automation.
1C or ERP integration with online stores solves the challenges of automatic product information retrieval, price and stock synchronization, and sending sales data from the online store to the system, unifying accounting, inventory, and online sales processes within a single environment.
After development an online store launched, its main operational challenges arise from the natural need to save time and resources:
- Content management,
- Keeping information up-to-date,
- Fast data processing,
- Quick order handling.
To meet these business-driven requirements, companies previously relied on operators to manually enter product data and keep prices and stock levels updated.
What problems does the integration solve?
At an earlier stage, the Astudio team introduced an Excel-based data import tool, but today REST API integrations allow these processes to be fully automated.
- In standard scenarios, an operator must manually enter the same product information-name, price, stock, description — both In 1C or ERP and in the online store’s database. Integration automates this workflow, enabling automatic data exchange and saving valuable time.
- It also eliminates errors related to rapidly changing prices or stock levels. A product that is out of stock in the warehouse might still appear as “available” on the website, or vice versa. Integration synchronizes warehouse website inventory in real time.
- Product prices often change in offline stores, but online store visitors may be dissatisfied with outdated prices. It turns out that the website administrator cannot update prices quickly enough. Price synchronization, which can be set to occur from 1 to 24 hours depending on the type of trade, eliminates this problem.
- It reduces confusion. When online sales data is entered manually, omissions are inevitable. Thanks to 1C/ERP integration, the online store automatically sends orders to the system or CRM.
As a business grows, managing it manually or without automation becomes increasingly difficult. Integration provides scalability.
In other words, different business systems such as sales, inventory, and delivery are connected, creating automated workflows. This allows processing a much larger volume of orders without investing additional resources.
1C Program Integration
What is 1C program integration, and what positive impact can it have on the operation of an online store?
1C integration allows an online store to save time on content management and reduce the resources spent on order processing.
There are two integration options:
- When a web service is created on the 1C side, the online store accesses it to retrieve product data intended for the website.
- Alternatively, when the API is implemented on the website side, 1C sends separate data product catalog and price stock information to the two specified endpoints.
In both cases, integration must occur using secure methods, such as limiting access by IP addresses and/or requiring password authentication. The preferred format for data exchange is JSON.
What does integration give us?
- Automatic retrieval of product nomenclature, filter parameters, and descriptions, with generation on the online store side.
- Transfer of sales data to 1C. Moreover, at the final stage, the store can receive calculations of the customer’s individual discounts from the system.
Integration of Armenian Software (ERP)
ERP integration, with its variety of tools, now almost matches the capabilities of 1C. Although accounting programs have different origins and structures, the main goal of their integration is the same: to unify a business’s accounting, inventory, and online sales systems into a single environment.
What does ERP integration provide?
- Retrieval of products, prices, and stock levels (group synchronization must be done beforehand).
- Automatic transfer of orders from the website to ERP (the process can be automated up to the point of printing the receipt).

Astudio company has been designing and developing online stores since 2009. Through the development and evolution of these programs and their capabilities, we have firsthand experience.
For integrations of any complexity and depth, we will study your resources, assess their technical capabilities, and be guided by official documentation as well as our own experience.
The technical specification includes:
- Which data is synchronized (products, prices, stock levels, orders, customers, bonuses, etc.).
- Integration phases and timelines (coordination with system administrators, actual implementation, testing).
- Technologies and methods used (API, XML, JSON, Cron Jobs).
The Astudio team can also explore the possibilities of integrating any other system or accounting software, provided the API documentation is available.
